I am a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. I was born and raised in Pune, India, where I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Digital Arts and Animation. In 2023, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue an MFA in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, graduating with honors in August 2025.

I have been creating for as long as I can remember. As a child, I immersed myself in music, painting, and photography, gradually refining both my instincts and technical skills. I have always been an avid reader, and in my early teens, I began writing poetry and short stories, which has now evolved into bigger stories and screenplays.

I was profoundly inspired by Frida Kahlo and Salvador Dalí, and through them I explored surrealism in my paintings. When I later encountered the work of David Lynch, his synthesis of image, mood, and subconscious storytelling felt like a natural extension of the artistic language I had long been drawn to.

I grew up watching and loving films. Many of my most cherished memories with family and friends are tied to cinema. Even now, revisiting films like Rocky or Finding Nemo transports me back to the living room of our old home in India, sitting beside my father on a quiet Saturday afternoon, glued to the television. During my undergraduate studies, I began to understand the deeper power of storytelling. It was this one quote that really resonated with me, "Powerful art can help heal, bring awareness and create change." I also think about all the times in life, throughout different emotions and phases, art has been a constant support for me, and that realization transformed my relationship with it. Art remains a form of self-expression for me, but it is also service, an act of worship and I strive to carry that belief into every project.

Throughout my academic journey, I had the privilege of learning from generous mentors who shaped both my artistic voice and personal growth. I remain deeply grateful for their guidance.

As I continue to evolve, I am committed to creating meaningful work across mediums that engages, moves, and offers a sense of connection and belonging.
