I’ve always been drawn to experimental filmmaking. It’s bold, unpredictable, and often a little intimidating, but it’s also one of the most rewarding ways to learn. Fallen Angels began as an experimental exploration of love, loss, and reflection. In telling that story through an experimental lens, we also wanted to create a visual world that felt dreamlike. Working in this way also helped ease some of the pressure I felt around self-expression at the time. A lot of prep, a three-person crew, one night on the streets of Los Angeles, this was one of the most exciting shoots I have been a part of.
